There will be a Title I Parent Meeting for the upcoming STAAR Math test at 5:30 on 4/15 in the cafeteria at PJH.

There will be an ACE family event for PJHS students on April 7th from 6:00-7:00 PM. The event will take place in the PJHS cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

PJHS will administer the 8th grade Science STAAR test on April 15. Due to testing, the campus will be closed to lunch deliveries and visitors. Students, please remember to charge and bring your Chromebook to school.

There will be a Title III Parent Meeting at PJHS on February 27 at 5:00 PM in the cafeteria. A second meeting will be held on February 28 at 7:30 AM in the library. We will walk through the Cambium Platform and view released TELPAS tests similar to what our students will take this spring.

💥📚 PCHS will be holding a mandatory parent meeting for all incoming students of the Class of 2029 (current 8th graders). This meeting will provide important information regarding the transition to high school, scheduling, and other key topics. Students are not required to attend, as the same information will be shared with them during their scheduling sessions. We look forward to welcoming you and your student to PCHS and working together for a successful start to their high school journey. 🎊



ACE Families: You are invited to join us on 2/11 from 6:15 to 7:15 for our monthly Family Engagement Event! This event will feature a special guest speaker, valuable resources for your family, and a fun home décor craft project that you can create together! We look forward to seeing you there!

Multiple viruses such as Flu and Covid are spreading throughout our community. The health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority, so if your child is sick or is experiencing symptoms, please keep him/her home until fever-free and symptom-free for twenty-four hours without the use of medication.


PJHS will not accept lunch deliveries or visitors on Tuesday, February 4 due to RLA benchmark testing. Thank you for working with us to create a quiet testing environment for our students.


There will be a "Good Luck" concert at Plainview Junior High on Tuesday, February 4 in the main gym. The Red Band will perform at 5:30; the concert band will perform at 6:00; the Symphonic band will perform at 6:45; the Honors band will perform at 7:30. Band students participating in the concert received a letter regarding attire and the time students are expected to arrive.
